The front door to your home is a statement to the world. Whether you project a classic, conservative look or something more eye popping and bright, your door can be a seasonal canvas to mix it up!
While we are all dreaming of springtime flowers and milder temps, it's a good time to transition from the greenery of the holidays to a fresh forecast. Your front door can lead with a color in something that compliments the other elements on your home. For example a Red brick home with Black painted shutters could boast a front door that pops a shade of Green.
Citrus colors such as Melons, Lemon, Lime greens, and Teal can communicate a warm, inviting look that brightens any entranceway.
Top it off with a wreath! I love wreaths to add the finishing touch to your door color. You can find a multitude of wreaths at local home stores that make it very affordable to keep an array of wreaths for
different occasions. Early Spring wreaths can include florals that look beautiful against any Spring snowfall that may grace your front lawn!
Once you start using wreaths to accent your door you will find it hard to leave the store without one!
One of my favorite seasonal wreaths this past fall was a velvet fruit wreath with olive greens and gold. You could have then segwayed into a Red poinsettia silk wreath for the holidays.
